Municipality of Hydra has condemned the group poisoning of the island animals, and has taken all necessary actions for their protection.
The love for animals on the island is something we take for granted. Hydra’s cats are an integral part of the island’s image, and the malicious actions of a minority of people in no case represent or can “poison” the image of the Municipality of Hydra and the Hydrians in general.
Hydra is a unique destination in the world, in terms of its natural beauty and its well organized life on the island, which is in perfect harmony with its natural surroundings.
We strongly recommend that you visit the island of Hydra, and get the opportunity to meet our people and experience its natural beauty.
